Cheryl has been a licensed attorney since 1983. She spent the first half of her career in the areas of civil litigation and family law, with brief forays into probate and child dependency work. Since 2001 she has focused her career solely on the defense of employers, insurance carriers, third-party administrators and self-insured entities in the workers’ compensation arena. She has successfully obtained several “take nothing” awards at trial, and has worked with some of the most well-known defense firms in the Los Angeles area. Cheryl began her tenure a Patrico Hermanson & Guzman in June, 2018.
In her spare time, she enjoys musical theater, game nights with friends and family, and, when possible, hanging out with her daughter who is attending college at Arizona State University.
