Iliana Guzman Castro has extensive experience representing insurance carriers, self-insureds and the California Insurance Guarantee Association in the defense of matters before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
Iliana began her legal career as a certified law clerk at the San Diego County Public Defender’s office and at both the San Diego and Los Angeles District Attorney’s office. Upon graduating from law school and admission to the California State Bar in 2009, Mrs. Castro practiced land use and municipal code enforcement as a City Prosecutor throughout Southern California. Her experience as a City Prosecutor included handling jury and bench trials, as well as all other facets of a criminal case
In her spare time, Iliana enjoys spending time with her family, trying new cuisines, and taking day trips in Southern California.
